With more than a decade of experience in public relations and media, Bilen previously supported communications efforts for then San Francisco District Attorney Kamala D. Harris. As principal of Change Consulting, Bilen works with nonprofits, foundations and changemakers, providing strategic communications guidance and full services to advance their respective missions. Current clients include the Rosenberg Foundation, the Mitchell Kapor Foundation, Equal Justice Society, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area and Literacy for Environmental Justice. A former journalist, Bilen has a Masters in Journalism from U.C. Berkeley, and has been published in media outlets such as the Associated Press.
